Saving and Publishing
My project is a 2D adventure game focusing on the concept of “loss”
I’m working on a 2D adventure game that focuses on “loss” with a rich world filled with interactive characters. a diverse cast of party members ranging from a nervous Mage, to a Brooding Knight. all of the characters have full questlines with rich backstories.
A Active Time combat system reminiscent of such classics as Final Fantasy 4 – 9 and child of light.
Explore a world with 5 continents filled with dungeons to explore, bosses to fight and friends to make.
My game would be enjoyed by a wide range of individuals but the target demographic is young adults.
Completing the game and releasing it on Steam greenlight or other distributing platforms would show potential employers what skills I have, it would let me get my foot in the door and grant me access to more opportunities to make great games.
I would like to purchase a program for composing the OST something like ChucK or Keykit.
When the game is released on greenlight I’ll spend my time touching up any bugs releasing a few patches to ensure the game is polished to a high standard. any funds i receive from selling the game will probably go to funding another game.
I want to create unique experiences for people.
