Workshops which help you become a creator instead of consumer of science technology.
If you’ve heard about the makers movement, this is your chance to get involved. Learn how to make your own rocket fuel, glow in the dark corsets, recycle gold from old computers, decorate your home with weather predicting crystals or learn to rapid infuse your own hand made gin.
Basically all the cool stuff they never taught you in school, because it was to dangerous (but we make it pretty too)!
Because science…honestly it’s fun and this your chance to stop being a consumer and start being a creator.
Science isn’t cheap, the funds would go towards specific equipment for each session (such as a gin still).
The goal is to run these workshops Australia wide, with local community providing self-guided content and collaboration.
My Skills: Misspent youth and a robotics workshop full of toys. Also doubles as a brewery and chem lab.
Unifest is a travelling music, food and art festival bringing a new wave of culture to University Campuses across Australia.
