Saving and Publishing
TEEM just released our debut single, Kronk. We want to bring the song’s amazing artwork to life through an animated music video.
The artwork for Kronk is a piece called Hive Mind by local Canberra artist and animator, Mei Wilkinson. An animated video will require roughly 4,300 individual drawings, which is going to take some time. A $1,000 Stir grant would help us realise our vision to make a killer video for a song we’re really proud of.
If you’re a music and/or animation lover of all ages, support our project! Kronk has already caught the eye of 3 Triple J reviewers, and animator Mei’s work has been syndicated by Frederator Studios (the production team behind Adventure Time), so this project will grow both the band and artist audiences.
You’ll get an amazing video for a great song, support 3 local Canberra artists (music, art/animation and video production), which will support the local region and help export our work to Australia and beyond.
Funding is the main thing we need. Bringing a video to life with 4,300 drawings will take at least $5,000, even though we’ve managed to keep costs way down by doing most of it ourselves. A grant for 20% of the cost of this video will make it much more achievable.
TEEM are putting the finishing touches on their ablum, which will be released later in 2017. You can expect more tunes and videos as we grow our exposure.
