Here at Stir, we aim to empower Canberra youth by helping them to view their personal projects as viable career paths. Stir is a not-for profit project, funded generously by the Canberra Innovation Network (CBRIN).
In order to make sure we’re doing a good job for the community, to report our results to CBRIN, and to administer our system, we collect information about you when you visit or use our site.
If at any stage you provide us with personal information we will only that information for the purposes for which it was provided. As part of the project submission process we will ask you for proof of age and proof of residential address; this information is used purely for validation of your eligibility and statistical purposes, and is not published anywhere on the site.
Information provided to the CBRIN for the purposes of reporting will be anonymised. We will not provide you personal information to any other third party, except in the rare case that a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our records.
Many of the projects on Stir link to external sites that may collect or use your personal information. This is generally not under our control or responsibility, and you are advised to review their respective privacy policies.
