Stir In Schools
The Association of Independent Schools ACT (AISACT) and the University of Canberra (UC) have partnered with Stir to provide two $500 grants for AISACT students, and two $500 grants (courtesy of UC) available for public school students from Canberra and surrounding regions. These grants are available now through Stir Season Three.
AISACT and UC funded Stir grants are provided to exclusively help high school students who are interested in pursuing a creative or entrepreneurial career to use the Stir platform to develop a project, engage with potential customers and other supporters, and apply for funding to get their project off the ground.
Stir is a crowd-voted grants platform for creative projects. These grants are intended for people who are looking to pursue their passions as a career path, experience entrepreneurship, and get additional support and exposure for a project they are working on.
Stir Season Three is now open til June 29, and provides the top-ten voted projects with $1000 grants. Through our new partnerships, Stir in Schools provides unprecedented opportunities for high school students beginning their creative journeys in the Canberra ecosystem.
The Stir Crew would like to personally acknowledge Mr. Tim McNevin, Principal of Galilee School, for his vision, support and initiative. We would also like to thank Mr. Victor Pantano and UC Marketing for extending this wonderful opportunity to public schools.
